This is my final project for my animation and visual effects class at the Academy of Art University. I had never touched Maya a few months ago and I’m really happy with how far I’ve come. There is still so much to learn!

Everything created by me in Maya and composited in After Effects.

Lost Languages Live and Album Concept Art

My good friend Ryan Devisser and his band, Lost Languages, played one epic show in December of 2009 and I had the pleasure of recording the whole show which you can watch right here.

Lost Languages is:
Ryan Devisser – guitar, vocals, keys
Brian Flaherty – guitar, vocals, glockenspiel
Charles Mastin – drums
Issac Brickner – guitar, vocals, keys

Ryan also asked me to design some concept album are and this is one of those concepts:

Bugsy the Boston Terrier

Inspired by the screensaver on my wife’s NOOK, I made this faux hedcut of our dog Bugsy using Photoshop. It may seem like three duplicates, but the first one is full size, the second is in NOOK dimensions, and the third is in iPhone dimensions.

Here are download links for each size:

Concept Car (Work in Progress)

This is a model of a car I’m working on right now using the open source 3D modeling software Blender 3D.

Facebook Graffiti

All of these drawings were done in the Facebook Graffiti application using only my mouse and no drawing tablet.
